What do Adele, Snoop Dogg, and K’Naan have in common? Fame, fortune, and songs written by Bruno Mars—and they aren’t alone. Plenty of singers, rappers, and DJs have performed tracks written by the Upton Funk crooner.

Bruno Mars is a powerhouse himself. Even after his musical hat trick of international number-one singles, Just the Way You Are, Grenade, and The Lazy Song, the Hawaiian-native's solo success hasn’t stopped the multi-platinum artists from penning tracks for others.

Remember when CeeLo Green yelled “F**k You” at the girl he loves as she drives around town dating someone else? Don’t lie. We all do. The song swept the nation, peaking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s not as though CeeLo hasn’t seen his own songwriting success—this hit just isn’t one of them.

So, yes. You can thank Bruno Mars for writing what we’re all thinking when we see an ex living their best life. This track is achingly relatable to most, but not Bruno. He can afford a Ferrari.
