5. No One Knows Queens Of The Stone Age
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s88r_q7oufE Dave Grohl had wanted to work with Josh Hommes band, Queens Of The Stone Age since they had been an opening act on the Foo Fighters tour. In 2001, he got his wish. Their previous drummer dropped out to work on his own projects, so Grohl stepped in and recorded the highly acclaimed album, Songs For The Deaf. He then spent the first half of 2002 touring with the band, delaying his work with the Foo Fighters. No One Knows is by far the best song on the album. The second it starts, its punchy beat and creative sound blows listeners away. When it heads into the chorus, it steps it up a notch; the guitar is much fiercer and Grohl just goes crazy on the drums. Halfway through the tour with Queens Of The Stone Age, Grohl dropped out and was replaced by another drummer, Joey Castillo, who joined the band full time. However, Castillo has now left and Grohl is back with the band as they work on their sixth album which is set for a 2013 release.
