10 Popular Performers That Prove Modern Pop Isn't All Bad

7. P!nk

Page 4 P!nk is a huge artist these days. Did you know she€™s sold out over thirty shows in Australia for her upcoming tour? Even Roger Waters didn€™t manage more than fifteen when he came last year. So she€™s had an important influence on modern pop. While there are some things that persistently frustrate me about her (how hard is it to remember the lyrics to your own songs?), she also consistently wins me over with an attitude that, essentially, tells all the popular crap we get at the moment to shove it. She is the only massive female pop artist I can think of with short hair, tattoos and a rebellious streak that isn€™t just an act (we€™re all looking at you Ke$ha). She is pretty damn awesome. Although I was underwhelmed by her latest effort, which blatantly ripped off Modest Mouse on the lead single, the incredible Funhouse is still so fresh in everybody€™s minds that she can be forgiven.
