4. Dave Matthews Band - 7
Though some of you may only know them from their infamous poo-dumping incident back in 2005, the Dave Matthews Band are, as it turns out, an actual band.
DMB formed back in 1991 and found success three years later with their debut album, Under the Table and Dreaming. Crash followed in 1996, reaching the runner-up position in the charts, before they finally scored their first number one in 1998 with Before These Crowded Streets.
And then everything went mad.
Over the course of six albums and two decades, the band never failed to top the charts. Though actual sales figures were down, the group's music still appealed enough to send them to the top spot, giving them one of the most impressive runs of successive albums in Billboard history.
This monumental lineage only ended in 2023, when Walk Around the Moon only managed fifth place. Clearly, the group's brand of inoffensive soft rock appealed to people who still bought albums and, as a result, they have managed to carve out quite the career for themselves.
Good thing too, 'cos they needed to pay a lot of fines after the river dumping in '05.
