10 Rock Songs That Have NOT Aged Well

2. Christine Sixteen - Kiss (1977)

Much like Mötley Crüe, Kiss had a pretty murky puddle of inspiration to draw from. Almost every song is riddled with sexual innuendos and references to being space age sex gods. You know what you're in for when you stick on an album entitled 'Love Gun' - get ready for poorly veiled d*ck metaphors and references to troubling sexual fantasies.

What was it with rockers of the past singing about their lust for girls way too young for them? Although the legal age of consent ranges from 16-18 in the United States, there's something incredibly uncomfortable about older men espousing their desire to pick up girls who are still in school.

Let's try to picture Alex Turner or Sam Fender singing the following line: "But when I saw you coming, out of the school that day, I knew I've got to have you" - doesn't seem right, does it?

Would AM or Hypersonic Missiles have sold as many units if those lyrics appeared on them? It's highly doubtful...
