His performances were incredibly popular throughout the whole island and earned him the nickname 'Little Elvis'. Eventually, he garnered international attention and was even interviewed by talk show host Jonathan Ross in the UK. His performance also earned him the role of 'Little Elvis' in the 1992 movie, Honeymoon In Vegas. As Little Elvis, he would perform with his family band a remarkable five days a week. Mars said that the Elvis impersonation in his early life influenced the way he performs, even today as he focuses on high energy, crowd pleasing performances much like the King himself.
