10 Things You Should Know About The Guns N' Roses Reunion
6. They'll Play At Least Two Shows Before Coachella
Rumoured for weeks, announced, and already sold out. Guns N' Roses will play a pair of shows in April in Las Vegas at the brand new T-Mobile Arena. While you'd expect Coachella to be the launching point for GN'R, they just got to announce the "reunited" band first. It's Vegas that will see the band's first performances with Slash since 1993. That makes sense. The band has close ties with Sin City: the "new" line-up played its first show there in 2001 at the House of Blues, and in recent years, they have played a couple of residencies at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino. Axl Rose seems to enjoy the city quite a bit, so sorry Coachella fans - Vegas gets the band first.
