10 Times Rock Musicians Lost Their Cool On Stage

7. When Liam Gallagher Had A Sulk

Seeing Liam Gallagher sat on the edge of the stage after he's been scolded by his big brother, is one of the more adorable examples of a rock star getting into a huff while playing a show.

During a 1996 performance of Oasis's brit-pop ballad, Whatever, Liam began singing the boozy British classic, only for Noel to give him the older brother head shake of disappointment.

Noel tended to let the crowd sing the opening few versus of that particular Oasis number, so when Liam eagerly came in early, only for his big brother to berate him, he took it rather personally.

Liam spent the rest of the song sulking around the stage, smoking cigarettes and genuinely looking hurt. The two Gallagher brother's relationship is summed up at around 2:33 into the clip, with Liam swaggering off to find a smoke, only for Noel to sheepishly check over his shoulder to make sure his temperamental brother isn't going to clock him one.

Admittedly one of their tamer displays of sibling rivalry, but it was indicative of the seemingly minor cracks that would turn into the deep chasm that led to the band splitting up.

Come on lads, get back together and give us some more moments like this.
