10 Times Rock Musicians Stopped Their Own Shows

5. Axl Rose Vs. The Crowd

Any mention of Axl Rose and live performances should be met with the same level of dread as seeing lion in your local supermarket.

The Guns N' Roses frontman has had an interesting relationship with concerts, famously turning up several hours late to many shows when the band were at their peak.

Although, if things came down to a choice between Axl not being there or turning up and then having a fight with a fan, the former begins to look a lot more enticing.

During one 1991 show, Rose noticed someone in the crowd was filming the gig, which he didn't like. He instructed security to remove the offender's camera, but this wasn't enough to satisfy him.

Rose did a full-on swan dive into the crowd, flying at the guy like he was a wrestler leaping off the top rope. After casually assaulting a paying customer like it was nothing, Rose got back on stage and announced he was going home.

He might have been responsible for some all-time classics, but there is absolutely no excuse for this sort of behaivour from anyone.
