10 Worst Closing Songs On Great Albums

7. My World - Guns N Roses

Let's get one thing right off the bat right here: the Use Your Illusion records by Guns N Roses were an extremely overbloated project. While that doesn't mean that it's bad by any stretch, the mammoth double album experience from them gave us some of the worst and best songs that the band has to offer, especially with November Rain showing off their chops at writing ballads. Right after the epic material, we have the result of Axl Rose being high off his ass and having a really bad idea.

As if going through all the other genres on this album wasn't enough, My World is Axl Rose trying to go in a more industrial direction, or at least that's what it sounds like. For most of the track, you hear a lackluster electronic loop that feels like it's taken from the worst Nine Inch Nails song you've ever heard, all while Axl starts talking trash to you, saying that you have no idea what it's like to step into his world.

While some of this might come off as badass to those just getting into Guns, this tends to land on the wrong end of threatening, sounding more and more like a school bully taking the listener to task before shoving them into a locker. If the legends are true that Axl recorded this whole thing while under the influence of magic mushrooms, no one let him near the stuff again when he enters the studio.
