Though the actual construction of the tune is fairly straightforward about a dude going back to his hometown and feeling nostalgic, nothing connects into each other like it's supposed to. Thinking the nostalgia angle would just sell the rest of the tune, Chad Kroeger pays virtually no attention to connecting one instance to another, going from breaking into schools to immortalizing the age old question of what the hell was on Joey's head.
