10 Worst Performances In Rock Music History

2. Green Day at iHeartRadio

Most of Green Day's fanbase probably wants to forget most of the Trilogy era of the band. While spreading these albums across a few months may have sounded like a fun idea at the time, that's bound to take a toll on a band that's trying to pump out that much material. There has to be a breaking point somewhere, and we actually got to witness that breaking point at the iHeartRadio festival when Billie Joe was finishing the set.

The night didn't necessarily start off great either, with Billie clearly not his normal self and sounding like he was lounging in a bar for some of the set. The real moment that everyone remembers here though is Billie getting pissed about only having one minute left to perform, being pushed to the side for Usher that was performing the same night. This wasn't just a little side complaint either, stopping in the middle of the song Basket Case to just go on a rant.

And Basket Case would never be finished either, with Billie ranting until his time runs out, smashing his guitar to pieces and then flipping off the camera before leaving the stage. It might have been funny at the time, but for Green Day fans, this was heartbreaking, as Billie would soon check himself into rehab after his behavior onstage. Billie does seem to be on the road to recovery for the past few years though...just don't get on his bad side when it comes to the timing of the gig.
