12 Most Hated Classic Rock Songs (On Great Albums)

8. Tomorrow And Tonight - KISS

After KISS broke through to the mainstream with their live release Alive!, the stage had been set for the new kings of rock music. Instead of taking the easy way out, the band spent their golden period refining their sound with harsh sonic assaults, which culminated in the rock and roll juggernaut Love Gun.

From the blistering title track to Ace Frehley's first vocal showcase "Shock Me," this album seemed to pour gasoline on the fire that KISS had started. Amid all the classics, the midpoint of the record features "Tomorrow and Tonight," which just feels like the band going through the motions.

As the story goes, Paul Stanley wanted to write a tune that was in a similar vein to their previous hit "Rock and Roll All Nite," thinking it would sell just as well if it had the same tunefulness. Instead of just being a great musical leap forward, this song seems like a carbon copy of their biggest hit, down to the same chant along hook style of the original. Through the years, it seems that the band have felt the same way about the song, given that they never performed it live up until 2017. It just goes to show you that you should always write from the heart instead of writing only for profit.
