12 Problems Only My Chemical Romance Fans Will Understand

7. No More Amazing Music Videos

Known for their prolific partnership with music video director Marc Webb (who went on to helm 500 Days Of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man) the band's music videos were wildly inventive, incredibly theatrical and endlessly unique.

The first video directed by Marc Webb was for the song I'm Not Okay (I Promise). It was a fake film trailer that featured the band in a high-school setting, detailing their hilarious misadventures €“ from tackling animal mascots to punching each other in the face. And who can forget the gothic Helena, featuring Gerard singing from a church pulpit, a beautiful dancing corpse and a rainy funeral procession. From the traumatising The Ghost Of You to the flamboyant Welcome To The Black Parade, fans awaited new music videos with immense anticipation. The band even went the narrative route, too, attempting to tell a story via the videos released for 2010's Danger Days. Knowing there won't be any more incredible My Chem music videos sucks. Seeing Gerard mercilessly shot in Sing €“ arguably the band's final proper music video €“ sucks even more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTgnDLWeeaM
