These guys are literally going to be all you hear about in the coming months, and that is a guarantee. As unpredictable as they are incredible, so far their singles and the "Blush" EP have seen comparisons with folk music, grunge and The XX simultaneously, impressively without feeling as if they are lacking in direction. This comes from the meticulous professionalism that is evident within every track. As although they may be a massive mix of genres, it feels as if this is done more as a statement than an indication of the band not finding themselves yet. They are eager to appeal to as many subcultures within the rock community as possible, and equally keen to add their own unique style to anything they touch. Lead singer Ellie Roswell's voice has an almost dreamlike quality to it, sure to haunt and captivate listeners as it is complimented by the fantastic musical prowess on show from the rest of the band. It's rare for a band as interesting as Wolf Alice to come along so unexpectedly, yet they have only seemingly now come into the limelight, after playing second fiddle to watered down psychedelic band "Peace" and the inferior-in-every-way "The 1975". Thankfully however, this year the unique brilliance of Wolf Alice will finally take centre-stage as their debut album will be upon us soon and they embark upon their debut UK tour in May.
