14 Underrated Albums (And 1 Overrated Record)

5. Fleetwood Mac - Tusk

Fleetwood Mac Tusk You could pick any number of records that are lost in the critical and populist debate against bigger-selling alternatives-John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band was much better than Imagine, and you could pick a better Springsteen album blindfolded than the awful Born In The USA- and I almost went for Fleetwood Mac here, home to sunshine pop and Rhiannon, their best song. Tusk followed the breezy chaos of Rumours, and is probably a better record than it's 30M-selling counterpart. The title track is probably the second-best Mac song ever, and any album where the unappreciated genius of Lindsey Buckingham is given free reign is going to stand the test of time.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
