15 Facts You Didn't Know About Blink-182

9. Travis Barker Was Originally A Member Of The Aquabats

Yes, the hardcore loving, tattooed from head-to-toe, quiet drummer Travis Barker was once a member of the spandex wearing, zany, masked ska band.

Once known as The Baron Von Tito, Barker performed on the 1997 album The Fury of the Aquabats!. His signature drumming style and speed rings out throughout the album and despite performing in a different genre from the one he’d become known for, he still makes his presence known.

Take a look at the music video for Super Rad! and there's no confusing the slim frame of Barker amongst all the trumpets and saxophone madness going on. The drummer even camps it up with swimming cap and goggles and can be seen on the band's album cover striking a pose.

Even now he doesn't shy away from his time with The Aquabats, he performed at the 20th anniversary show for The Fury of the Aquabats! in 2017 like nothing had ever changed for a one off special performance of Attacked by Snakes.

Fans were probably not expecting that one!
