15 Hilariously Awful Songs Released In The Name Of Charity

6. The Cast Of The Big Reunion 2013 - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEsALGZz9qk Five, B*Witched, Liberty X, Blue, The Honeyz, Atomic Kitten and 911 joined forces last year to record a cover of Wizzard's Christmas classic, with all proceeds going to ITV's far-less-popular-than-any-of-the-BBC's Text Santa charity. With seven lots of fans from bands who starred in a programme that produced a sell-out arena tour, the song was destined to well, right? Wrong. The track peaked at an unlucky 13. Even Wizzard's Womble featuring rerecording wasn't as bad. (I Wish It Could Be A Wombling Merry Christmas Everyday? Really, Roy? You'd want that everyday of your life?) As with Dizzee Rascal's new lines in Band Aid 20's Do They Know It's Christmas?, Abs added a rap section over the middle-8, during which he managed the impressive feat of rhyming "weak" with "weak". With a much weaker line-up for this year's The Big Reunion (Girl Thing, 3T...) don't hold out much hope for something similar this year. In fact, it would probably be more profitable for each of the ex-popstars to stick a fiver in a pot.
