15 Most Pulse-Pounding Motörhead Tracks

6. Dancing On Your Grave

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46K9jNPzUHs When 1983's album Another Perfect Day was released it surprised many of Motörhead's hardcore fans. Their sound had changed, the dynamics had changed and a polished sheen had emerged to replace the broken-bottle and sweat-encrusted barroom attitude of old. Had Motörhead gone soft? Had they sold out? Had they heck! Another Perfect Day may stand out as somewhat of an anomaly in their back-catalogue, but songs like "Dancing On Your Grave" make up in melody and finesse what they lack in Motörhead's usual nailed-down aggression and should not be overlooked under any circumstances. Featuring the formidable guitar talents of Thin Lizzy's Brian David "Robbo" Robertson, "Dancing On Your Grave" may not be an obvious inclusion here but it's a powerful track infused with a commercially-minded sensibility that leaves it standing head and shoulders above many of Motörhead's 'meat and potatoes' album tracks.

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
