12. Iron Fist
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FBe9l_A3vo "Iron Fist" was the opening track from the album of the same name and is quite simply speed metal through and through; a short, sharp shock of speed and aggression which perfectly encapsulates Motörhead's pedal to the metal attitude. Released in 1982 and taking on the unenviable task of following the mighty Ace Of Spades, Motörhead released another relentless, full-force attack of an album in the shape of Iron Fist, although it proved to be the last to be recorded by the classic line-up of Lemmy, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor. Featuring the requisite checklist of essential Motörhead ingredients; gritty-yet-catchy vocal hooks, Lemmy's obligatory bass intro, furious drumming and a chorus designed to be screamed back at the stage from first row of the audience to the last, "Iron Fist" may not have broken any barriers in terms of originality but it sure does provide the necessary jolt to the system which Motörhead fans had already grown accustomed too.

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
