13. His Stolen Album Is The Holy Grail For Skrillex Fans
In 2011, fans eagerly awaiting Skrillex's album were greeted with this post by him on Facebook:
Just gonna set it strait. I had 2 laptops and both of my hard drives stolen out of my hotel in Milan Italy last month. On those laptops and drives were all the project files of Skrillex. All gone now. Also I had a new album that is now gone too. I spent a week pulling my hair out but now im just focussing on the future and re making my album.
Of course, in the time since a huge quantity of music has been put out by Skrillex, including tons of EPs, his debut album Recess and his collaborative release with Diplo, Jack . But that album remains a mystery... And one that many fans would love to hear in its entirety. Which Skrillex fan WOULDN'T want an album full of never-released tracks by their hero?
