10. Asylum Had Some INCREDIBLE Songs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4v5M-fs_C0 Have you heard The Infection? It's spectacular. Easily one of Dan Donegan's best solos, it also features a great chorus, marking one of many high points on the album alongside Warrior, the spectacularly haunting intro-track Remnants, and the finger-twisting brilliance of The Animal. Draiman would take on a far more personal tact lyric-wise as he dove into addressing his own ancestry with the atrocities of the Holocaust in his family line, alongside writing My Child whilst he and his wife were expecting. It was all topped off by a four-hit closing combo of solid covers ('ISHFWILF' being U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For), Living After Midnight, Innocence and Leave It Alone - meaning that although its reception got somewhat tied into the band announcing their hiatus, still has just as many notable tracks worth revisiting whenever you can.
