20 Most Annoying Songs Of The New Millennium

9. Miley Cyrus - Party in the USA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M11SvDtPBhA When Twerkgate was still yet to happen and Hannah Montana was slowly fizzling out, a maturing Miley Cyrus inflicted this infectious piece of pop torment on us back in 2009. Written partially by Jessie J, 'Party in the USA' is one of Miley's biggest hits to date - and also one of her most bothersome musical moments. Unfortunately, this is so irresistibly catchy that one cannot quite help nodding one's head like yeah, or indeed, moving one's hips like yeah either, as if possessed by a cutesy bubblegum pop demon. It may look adorable, but you wanna exorcise that thing quickly before there's no going back.

8. Chico - It's Chico Time

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_-isKzt4O4 Oh, Chico. Why was this allowed to happen? Perhaps the most annoying song by an X Factor contestant in the history of the show, Chico cheerfully reminded us with this minor hit in 2006 that 'you can get delirious if you take life too serious.' No, Chico, you've got it wrong. It's actually getting this infuriating track stuck in your head that would be more than enough to make you delirious, if not then certifiably insane. Possibly the most novelty song the X Factor has ever spawned, this drivel actually made it to the number one spot in the UK - and stayed there for two long, grim weeks.
