Tyler, The Creator is one of the most gifted young rappers today, and his lyrics often border on horrorcore (a genre associated with dark themes). This is never more apparent than on his less-than-subtle ode to Ted Bundy, the rapist and serial killer responsible for at least 30 deaths. A bass-y number with snappy drum patterns, the track sees Tyler taking on Bundy's persona and revelling disturbingly in his portrayal of the monstrous murderer. He explores Bundy's famous charm, emphasising his famed ability to manipulate his victims with ease, through lyrics like "baby you're an angel" and "this bitch really think that I'm about to buy her dinner". He also makes repeated references to Bundy's apparent self-pride and gloating enjoyment regarding his own magnetism, calling his actions a "game" that he is a "legend" of.
