Without question, Victoria Beckham (née Adams) has had the most successful post-band career of all the Spice Girls. She has built her family into a brand name, has a thriving fashion empire and even made people believe that David Beckham is a good footballer (anyone that reckons he's good outside of deadball situations is wrong). As part of the Spice Girls, she achieved worldwide fame and popularity from the age of twenty-two, scoring number one hits like Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life and was at the forefront of the 90s Girl Power movement. When the Spice Girls broke up, no-one could have predicted the powerhouse she would eventually become, and more (girl) power to her. But her post-Spice Girls musical choices were not the best: Posh tried to reinvent herself as a garage star. There were reasons for this. It was the year 2000, Oxide and Neutrino, Artful Dodger and So Solid Crew were huge, why wouldn't you try and go for the most popular music of the time? Posh's problem was that she went to Dane Bowers, formerly of really terrible boyband Another Level, to aid her in her musical quest. Out Of Your Mind was actually quite a successful song and ultimately its legacy lives on in the fact that Victoria won't even perform with the Spice Girls anymore and Bowers had to appear on Celebrity Big Brother to remind us of who he is.
