8 Most Famous Beefs In Hip Hop Music History
7. Eminem Vs. Machine Gun Kelly
Eminem is certainly no stranger to conflict. Ever since his meteoric rise to superstardom in the late 90s, the Detroit rapper has feuded with some of the biggest stars in hip hop. (And also found some less likely targets, Moby, Nick Cannon, and Mariah Carey anyone?)
However, since his return to the music industry following a hiatus in the mid-2000s, it is fair to say that the number of public feuds Em has found himself involved in has at least decreased compared those in his heyday.
That doesn't mean that it's a good idea to go poking the bear though.
Machine Gun Kelly found that out the hard way when he took aim at Mr Mathers with his 2018 single "Rap Devil." Now, to be fair, the track included a number of fair criticisms that have been levied at Eminem in recent years, and proved to be hugely commercially successful, but it was always going to invite a rebuttal.
Eminem responded with "Killshot," four minutes and thirteen seconds devoted to insulting every aspect of MGK's career which effectively ended the feud instantly.
