9 Lesser Known Bands That Are Looking To Blow Up In 2020

7. Palmer Squares

The Palmer Squares are two of the most talented lyricists alive today, you might think this is hyperbole as you might not have heard of them, but it’s true. They pack insanely dense levels of wordplay and verbiage into intrinsic rhyme schemes that flow smooth to tickle your cerebral cortex into bobbing along.

They have built a fanbase of hip-hop heads off their incredibly active YouTube channel, jumping on cyphers and releasing new tracks regularly. The community respects the hustle and the honestly staggering level of complicated schemes and verses these two are capable of bringing out of one another. Essentially it’s just two goofballs, word nerds armed with a dictionary and intent on pushing poetry, lyricism, and hip-hop to its absolute limits.

Their back catalog is expansive, rewarding new fans and old alike the deeper they delve, but they're tipped for bigger things this year because of the experimentation and evolution of their sound.

With songs like ‘Paralyzed’, we see Term K stretching his vocal cords with some stronger melody and a refrain that hooks into your brain and refuses to leave. Both he and Acumental have grown a lot since the band’s infancy with a flex, swagger, and flow that is now undeniably perfected. If this is an indication of what to expect from the next release, it’s going to be huge.
