9 Lesser Known Bands That Are Looking To Blow Up In 2020

3. Ask My Bull

Pure unadulterated prog-jazz filth! This is the kind of band that if we were living in the 50s your parents would ban you from listening to. Well actually, if we were living in the 50s they would probably label this as moon music made by aliens, but you understand what I’m saying.

Catch these bands live and you'll never be left disappointed. The raw energy that they summon on stage is infectious and it imbues the amassed crowd with a feral community spirit which they use to dance themselves giddy paying tribute to the music gods in sweat. It is impossible to resist the otherworldy tug that is conjured by this frenetic and frantic music, once you give in and surge with the tidal force of it on the shore of the stage it is an experience like no other.

The band themselves are ridiculously tight and talented as they would have to be to play such pleasing yet seemingly disjointed music. They can switch tempo on the head of a pin and swivel back again just as quickly, all in perfect unison. Whether live or on record the awesome level of their musicianship is something that you can just as easily headbang yourself dizzy to as stand back and marvel at the unholy art of it all.
