9 Lesser Known Bands That Are Looking To Blow Up In 2020

4. Selby And The Dharma Blitz

Selby And The Dharma Blitz slip into the listening equivalent of your DM’s with a sultry and sexy sound that is impossible to resist. It’s suave and it’s sophisticated, the poetic lyricism and laidback confident delivery of Joseph Selby’s verse perfectly punctuates the soulful siren’s call of Laura Goucher’s melody. They intermingle over a tantric web of music spun by a rhythm section that are in tune with the heartbeat of Earth’s core itself and a brass section that is nothing short of an Angelic choir.

Their first album ‘The Splendor Of Enough’ was a delightful slice of something incredibly different and was the soundtrack to my summer in 2017. They have built on this by gigging almost constantly and lending their sound and support to an ever-growing list of some of the biggest names on the alternative scene. They are festival veterans and their live show is every bit as delicious as the record with a presence and enticing groove that beckons the crowd to the dancefloor.

Having just successfully crowdfunded their latest album ‘Howling Grace’ they proved just how important the music is to them and their fans. In a move true to their individual style and skill they released a short jam video poetically laying out their intention and need for the support. The songs are written and the record button ready to be hit, expect to be hearing them all over the radiowaves and festival fields of 2020.
