AC/DC - EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

11. Rock or Bust (2014)

Until the release of Power Up on November 13th, 2014’s Rock or Bust is the newest AC/DC album. Six years after the smash hit album, Black Ice, Rock or Bust features songs which are certainly considered instant classics by AC/DC fans.

The album was the bands fourth to top the charts in Australia, as well as topping in countries such as Canada, Switzerland and France. The album also features Angus’s and Malcolm’s nephew, Stevie Young, taking the position of rhythm guitarist from Malcolm.

The album’s title track was the second single to be released. Rock or Bust is easily one of the strongest tracks of the album, capturing the same energy felt from the tracks on albums like Black Ice. The lead single for the album was Play Ball, which keeps the same momentum as Rock or Bust. A third single from the album, Rock the Blues Away, was released in 2015.

Rock or Bust features a strong selection of album tracks, namely Got Some Rock & Roll Thunder, Miss Adventure, Baptism by Fire and Sweet Candy. While they don’t quite stand out like Rock or Bust or Play Ball, they are still great tracks which capture AC/DC’s iconic style.
