Bloodstock Festival 2017: 10 Bands You Must See

5. Skindred

If there's one thing the rowdy Welshmen Skindred love doing on a regular basis, it's stretching the boundaries of both heavy metal and reggae. And they will get to do just that once more as they bring their rap- and guitar-fuelled melodies to Britain's most extreme rock festival.

To help them with their quest, Skindred will be packing two of their most quintessential ingredients for the unsuspecting attendees at Catton Hall Park: arena-sized, nu metal-style anthems as well as the ever-engaging frontman Benji Webbe.

Whether it be with his colourful, eye-catching attire(s) or in his masterful, almost hypnotic control over any crowd he steps in front of, Webbe is more often than not what seals the visual deal for this adored quartet.

Of course, huge, crowd-popping compositions like the smash hit "Kill the Power" and "Doom Riff" don't hurt the band either.

For those looking for a lively, party atmosphere to break up the ceaseless, extreme metal that will be gracing Bloodstock on the Sunday, you needn't look further than this energetic powerhouse of rap rock.
