Standout Lyrical Attack: 'Canib*tch, on some 'Stan Lives' s**t/ it creeped me out at first; man, this is sick' taken from the track 'Canib*tch'. This was a rap beef that initiated from a separate one; clearly rappers are just generally angry people! Before Eminem blew up, Canibus and Wyclef Jean approached the rapper and asked if he had written an LL Cool J track that was taking shots at Canibus. Eminem rejected their accusations as completely false, and later added that he didn't take to kindly to the random animosity directed his way. Canibus then later sent tracks to Eminem that he hoped the pair could collaborate on, but Eminem rejected the offer after hearing the beat; simply because he wasn't excited about putting words to that particular track, rather than not wanting to do the collaboration for personal reasons. Canibus then released a track entitled 'U Didn't Care' fresh off the success of Eminem's track 'Stan'. Within the track Stan survives the accident and comes back for Eminem, only Stan seems to be talking completely from Canibus' perspective. A few diss tracks went back and forth, with Eminem clearly getting the better of the vocal exchange. Canibus recently entered a rap battle at King Of The Dot and lost miserably against a battle rap veteran, Dizaster. He later put the loss down to being "abducted by blood sucking leeches" a few days before the event...I don't really know what that means either.
