Every My Chemical Romance Single Ranked Worst To Best

15. Na Na Na...

A rowdy and raucous single, Na Na Na was a definitive statement that the band were moving away from the dark themes that marked their previous outings, in favour of sugarcoated pop punk and a tongue-in-cheek aesthetic.

The music video - which included Danger Days' opening spoken-word track Look Alive, Sunshine - even panned to a shot of the band's Black Parade outfits lying in waste in the desert, proving that the Black Parade were, indeed, dead.

As infectious as Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) is, it launched an album that would come to be seen as something as a mis-step for the band. Though the change in direction has since been welcomed, many fans lamented the departure from the neo-gothic aesthetic and musical style they had fallen in love with on previous records.
