Every Queen Album Ranked Worst To Best
5. News Of The World
6th studio album (1977); UK #4; US #3
Fans of Family Guy will recognise this album as the one with the creepy cover that Stewie is terrified of. Fans of Queen will remember it as one of the band's defining records, the one in which they go all-out with the arena-ready showstoppers, and waste no time doing so - the album starts with the double-whammy of We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions, two immortal classics which used to play in sequence on American radio upon release.
But that's not all; the album is Queen at their most unpredictable, with an introspective Roger Taylor banger in Fight From The Inside, a hard-hitting ballad in Spread Your Wings, and Queen's most sexually explicit song so far, Get Down, Make Love.
Key Tracks: All of the above.
Fun Fact: The track Sheer Heart Attack was originally composed for the album of the same name, but was left unfinished by the time it came out, to finally be included in this one.
