Fleetwood Mac Albums Ranked From Worst To Best

15. Behind The Mask

Fleetwood Mac Ranking
Warner Bros.

When Behind the Mask was released in 1990. it shot straight to the top of the UK album chart, which may say something about the sneaky marketing to consumerism relationships in 1990 because in reality it should have been dead on arrival. Of course, people eventually listened to what they bought and as a result it was instantly buried and forgotten about.

This manifestation of misguided attempts aims at recapturing the essence of what made Fleetwood Mac a household name to begin with. There was just one problem though. The departure of a pivotal member such as Lindsey Buckingham may hinder the overall quality of the project, causing an oversaturation in the vocal aspect with very little taking place on the strings section of the spectrum. This still didn't tarnish the sales anywhere near as much as it did the legacy considering that the album somehow managed to fire itself to platinum status in the UK whilst going Gold in a variety of other regions around the globe.

With an underwhelmingly underdeveloped lack of polish to the album, this is one mask that should have been affixed to the face and left to disguise the disgrace that was hiding beneath it.
