Kanye West: Every Album Ranked From Worst To Best
10. Watch The Throne
The first of Kanye's two collaborative albums is Watch The Throne, in which he partners with hip hop icon Jay-Z. The result is an album featuring some typically great Kanye production with the constant focus on both him and Jay keeping the album fresh throughout.
Considering this album came after My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, one of Kanye's very best albums, it put up a great fight. However, the raw emotion on display in that album is nowhere to be found here. Kanye and Jay have some great verses but there seems to be a lack of any real purpose or message which has always been one of West's strengths. The album had nothing much to say other than that West and Jay are talented, which their discography already makes very clear.
Nonetheless, the album does feature a few fantastic songs such as No Church in the Wild and one of Kanye's most successful songs, Ni**as in Paris.
Best Track: Ni**as in Paris
