5. Youthanasia
1994 saw the release of one of Megadeth's most blistering and technical records, featuring the insane prowess of guitarist Marty Friedman. Despite not being radically different from previous record Countdown To Extinction, it offered fans more of what they wanted and had come to love. Songs like Reckoning Day, Train Of Consequences and Youthanasia continue to be fan favourites, but the record is undeniably most notable for housing one of the most iconic Megadeth songs across the band's entire discography. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEyOwLY3rV4 A Tout Le Monde was released as a single from the album in 1995. The lyrics are a gorgeous mixture of French and English and deal with saying goodbye to those you love. Not long after its release, however, the song was met with controversy. The music video was banned by MTV who interpreted its lyrics as promoting suicide, despite Mustaine's claims to the contrary.
