Oasis: Ranking Every Album From Worst To Best

1. What's The Story Morning Glory (1995)

After Definitely Maybe's smash success, the table was set for the Gallaghers to truly take over the world. On their second record, they did just that.

From front to back, this albumis loaded with the greatest hits to ever come out of the 90s. The fitting opener "Hello" sets everything up nicely, while "Wonderwall" stands as Oasis' most successful ballad, regardless of meme status. Other songs like "Some Might Say" and "Morning Glory" have a certain energy that makes you feel more alive with each passing listen. And "Don't Look Back In Anger" has gone on to become one of the greatest stadium anthems of all time.

The album comes to a stellar close with the drugged-out "Morning Glory" and the 8-minute epic "Champagne Supernova." And as the haze slowly dissipates, you immediately have the urge to rewind the record and hear it all over again.

Great rock and roll will never date regardless of its release date. This album has become more of a part of musical culture rather than simply an album. It just seems that with every time someone hears this record, the world shines just a bit brighter after having heard it.
