Dannii's Style & Career Prospects
Dannii has published a self penned guide on style and fashion tips, since she became a national icon appearing as a judge on the UK X Factor. The moment those oversized doors opened on the X Factor stage, Dannii regularly was named best dressed by tabloids. Up against Sharon, of course she won. Beating Cheryl was also a personal achievement! Everyone's careers have up and downs, but for Dannii the absolute peak of more than 30 year experience in the public eye was in 2010. She sat on a revitalised Australia's Got Talent judging panel that unearthed genuine talent and then flew back to London, in a happy relationship and as a new mum. She joined Cheryl, Louis and Simon back on the X Factor for the shows most successful season to date, with nearly 20 million people tuning into the finale that have seen Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle go on to do huge things. Sadly, all good things... Dannii left the X Factor UK in 2010 and when the 7 network cancelled Australia's Got Talent in 2012, she was left high and dry once again with no high profile show in Australia or the UK.
Seemingly leaving her first love, music, behind - Dannii and her right hand best mate Tabatha joined forces to launch a fashion label. Named "Project D", the range features elegant and versatile pieces that have been influenced by Dannii's favourites. Her dresses have been worn by royalty and celebrities alike. In 2013 Dannii will take a seat as the newest judge on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, which will be a platform for Dannii to push her label. It will also get her back out there on British TV, where she has been absent since 2010. Dannii the singer seems to have retired, but Dannii the designer and fashionista is the future for this Australian princess.
