For the uninitiated, Chas & Dave are a couple of legendary Londoners, best known for a selection of 70s chart pub sing-song hits such as 'Rabbit' (which can be seen in the video above) and 'Ain't No Pleasing You'. Who knows how they'll fare alongside some of the heaviest metal bands in existence, but the idea is just great regardless. Believe it or not, the duo actually has a bit of experience in this realm, previously performing at Knebworth as a support act for Led Zeppelin's iconic gigs in 1979. Releasing a short statement after they were announced for the fest, the duo referenced these shows, saying: "We went down well at Knebworth in '79. Not surprised we got a return booking!" At Sonisphere, the duo are likely to bring a good ol' fashioned knees up to Knebworth and it'll be brilliant.
