The Beatles: 14 Most Under-Appreciated Songs

8. She Said She Said (Revolver)

If Rubber Soul was The Beatles dipping their toe in the water of working outside their comfort zone, Revolver was them embracing the land beyond that zone fully. She Said She Said is a track that exemplifies that perfectly.

Between rosy guitar to go with a back beat just odd enough to make sense, strong vocals and trippy lyrics, this is a track that really stands out on an iconic album.

Sadly, the band opted to go with Eleanor Rigby and Yellow Submarine as the singles, those two being the easier sells on the charts.

But on an album largely devoid of the traditional love songs that defined the band in their first half of their career, She Said She Said is proof of one truth: The Beatles had only just reached the tip of the iceberg in terms of their musical capabilities.
