5. She Was Set To Star In A Harry Potter Themed Episode Of Doctor Who
According to a bunch of leaked emails between the then head writer of Doctor Who Russell T. Davies and a journalist who was helping him write a book about producing the show, a Harry Potter crossover episode was planned, and it was meant to star J.K. Rowling. In the episode, J.K. Rowling was to be bitten by a Space Bug, which would cause her imagination to become real. The Doctor would then be forced to battle an entire army of witches and wizards armed with wands and CGI spells in order to reach Rowling herself. The episode got as far as the planning stages, with Davies sitting down to discuss the whole thing with Rowling, but sadly it was vetoed by David Tennant (the Doctor at the time) who thought the whole thing sounded too silly. Dammit, Tennant...it sounds brilliant!
