10 Craziest Planets In The Universe

Now you may think it is a little cliché to top the list of craziest planets with the one we are most familiar with, but there are numerous reasons why.

Firstly, out of all the 1000s of planets we have discovered, Earth has one thing no other example has: life. Conditions are just at the right level to give us the complexity and natural wonders of biology that we come into contact with daily. Living things, and us humans especially, are capable of changing the planet so drastically, for instance the atmosphere, that to an outside observer it would seem almost inexplicable.

Still not convinced? The Moon's size and distance from Earth relative to the Sun allows us to be one of very few planets to experience solar eclipses the way we do on Earth. The celestial bodies also give our planet a regular, repeating tide in our oceans.

Our planet is so fascinating and so complex that there are still many places yet to be explored and many things still waiting to be discovered. Things that can amaze anyone, even more so than anything else we find on exoplanets.

Earth is the only place where the universe is capable of understanding itself.
