10 Deeply Disturbing Disneyland Urban Legends
7. The Guests Who Never Leave
When they're not riding around on Haunted Mansion having the time of their deaths, ghosts apparently roam free around the park at night, even keeping to the foot-paths for some reason, as the CCTV video above purports to show. That wouldn't be the first sighting of a ghost in the park though, as park guests have mentioned seeing a ghostly cowboy wandering around rides, and numerous sightings of children have been claimed, adding to those already mentioned.
It seems that video evidence is the newest form of proof, as guests posts videos apparently "catching" ghosts in their casually filmed videos.
Arguably the most famous ghost in the parks even has a name - Mr One Way - who apparently haunts Space Mountain (and only went one way), having died on the ride back in the 1970s. According to reports, he is described as a large man with ginger hair - once more proving the evilness of that genetic disposition - and has been seen boarding the ride, but then disappearing before disembarkment. Unless Space Mountain staff are secretly murdering fat ginger men, that would suggest that he's a ghost.
Is There Any Truth In It? The bleeding light effect on that supposedly incriminating seems to suggest the source of the "ghost" appearance, and it seems a little too fortuitous that someone would be filming the CCTV at that precise time...
Less cynical viewers have suggested that it would be too difficult to overlay video on four separate videos in sequence, but they clearly haven't ever met a video editor.
