10 Deeply Disturbing Disneyland Urban Legends
5. The Creepy Ride Photos

Mr One Way and the Haunted Mansion ghost rider aren't the only apparitions spotted riding around the park, according to some recurring stories. One of the more colourful has it that ghosts and ghouls can be spotted thanks to the truthful glare of a camera lens, and are thus shown up for their true selves when the ride takes a snap that guests can briefly ponder spending an extortionate amount of money on after they disembark.
According to one guest, on a trip to the park in 2008 with his aunt, he was riding the Dinosaur ride in the Animal Kingdom, sitting next to a nondescript old man with a beard (a sure-fire sign of evil if Hollywood's aesthetic rules for evil twins is anything to go by) who spent the entire ride so unimpressed that he barely reacted to anything at all.
Assuming he was some sort of hipster who didn't like to show his emotions in the face of extreme excitement, the rumour-monger thought nothing more of it, until he went to check his ride-snap and discovered that the "weird old man" had no eyes.
"He did NOT have sunglasses on during the ride, or even normal glasses, and there was NOTHING wrong with his eyes when he got on, but in that photo, there was nothing but black all around where his eyes should've been. Also, he was looking straight ahead in the photo - not at the dinosaur/camera - and again, bland expression. My aunt saw the photo too, and agreed it was way weird and way spooky. Also, she says she never saw him getting off the ride - he didn't pass us, and wasn't behind us."
Is There Any Truth In It? Relying on grainy photos taken at high speed on a ride as proof that someone has no eyes isn't exactly the best way to have people believe you.
