10. A Teacher Uses Fourth Graders For Dating Advice

Last year, substitute teacher Cassandre Fiering was sacked after using the nine-year-old students in her class to help her decide which of two men she should date. You might think you'd have to be desperately stupid to imagine that nine-year-olds would have any useful advice in that, or any, situation, but Cassandre was no fool. Cassandre didn't ask them for tips, but took the much saner option of acting out scenarios in which she played her boyfriends, and they played her. According to the investigatory report, the kids encouraged her to dump the younger boyfriend, so she joked that they should toilet paper his house, and dress up as "demons" to scare him away. It should be said that Ms. Fiering has called the report "the biggest bunch of crap I've heard in my entire life". She plans to appeal her dismissal, on the advice of her lawyer, the kid with glasses in the seventh grade.
