10 Exciting Things Coming To Walt Disney World

8. Frozen Ever After & Royal Sommerhus

Set to open this summer, Frozen Ever After is a brand new attraction housed in Epcot's Norway Pavilion.

This new boat ride, which has replaced the popular Maelstrom attraction, will take guests on a journey through Arendelle during its Winter in Summer celebration.

Passing through some scenes, park goers will see some familiar faces along the way with the ride expected to climax with Elsa performing a rendition of the Oscar winning song, Let It Go.

To accompany the new ride, Disney are also creating a new meet and greet area. In the Royal Sommerhus, your own little princess and prince will get a chance to meet Anna and Elsa. The new home of the Frozen princesses has been designed to look like a traditional Norwegian cabin.

Portfolio Creative Executive Kathy Magnum is clearly proud of the authenticity of this meet and greet location; €œThis cabin is based on an actual historic log cabin in Norway. In fact, in order to make sure we get the character and detailing right, we just sent our project team to Norway on a research trip to study the country and its cultural arts and crafts in person, just as the film team did."
