7. Learn A Language: Duolingo

So you know how you've always been meaning to learn Italian? Don't know where to begin? Don't have the time?
Well good news, because now there are no excuses.
Duolingo is a bit like Rosetta Stone, but totally free and friendlier. It has a range of exercises covering everything you'll need to master a language to conversation level, including speaking exercises, reading, writing, comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.
You can take a complete course, for free, in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Irish, Danish, Swedish, Russian, Ukrainian, Esperanto, Polish and Turkish.
It's not a miracle worker, you still have to, you know, learn the language, but with this app you can do it on the train, in the bath or pretty much anywhere else you fancy. It also has a support community built into the app and user-generated content and feedback.
