"I mean, how many guys get their own task force?" ~Freeway Ricky

The real Rick Ross...not the rapper who stole his persona. This Rick Ross operated one of the largest drug empires of the 80's. Based out of Los Angeles, Ross started out wanting to be a tennis pro. He couldn't get into college and turned to selling crack cocaine. Ross spent time in prison, getting released in 2009. He'd try unsuccessfully to sue the rapper Rick Ross for using and profiting off his name.

Better than a documentary, Freeway takes Rogan through his past, how he struggled in school, began in the drug trade with his last $10, and how he got involved in government conspiracies before winding up incarcerated. While not innocent himself, Ross would actually expose a lot of corruption within the Los Angeles Police Department.

Even with his academic shortcomings, he proves to be an intelligent individual with a fascinating story.
