10 Joe Rogan Experience Guests Who Have Died

9. Brody Stevens (1970 - 2019)

The Comedy Store in LA seems like one of the most bizarre and brilliant communities to be a part of. A space for the weirdest members of our species to flaunt their unique oddities. Brody Stevens was one such specimen; he was a comedians comedian. After his tragic death in 2019, his fellow comics flooded social media to share their fondest memories of him. He was defined by his surrealist brand of humour and his unique take on the craft.

Brody might not be widely recognised outside of the comedy circuit, but you've probably seen him in a number of popular movies. With various small but hilarious roles, Stevens appeared in such films as The Hangover trilogy and Due Date, as well as voicing characters in animated shows like American Dad and Adventure Time.

It's an uncomfortable truth that the tortured mind of comedians can lead them to making that saddest of choices: the act of suicide. Stevens had suffered with mental illness for a number of years and at the time of his death had been experiencing an extreme bout of bipolar disorder. He appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast a number of times, and since his death Rogan has discussed the impact he had on him and his fellow comics.
